I initially rsvp’d for my scrapyard system, but I think I’m focusing more on #C088UF12N1Z| now. I'm working on improving the UX for the scrapyard point system for the organizers. Specifically, I added an improved interface for selecting users, as well as made it easier to be able to check in participants for events faster. I also improved some backend architecture, mainly to make it easier to add tests. Up to 356 tests today!
I find it so cool that, as a programmer, I can just identify a problem ("hey, I want to know the battery level of each earbud separately") and solve it myself!
Day 1-3 (for me): (tried to) set up drivers, install needed programs on orange pi. Officially hate all SBC's cuz they have like 0 driver support and ARM devices because nothing runs on them. Even the GPU support needs external PPAs...
