Day 6 of

Today I: • FINALLY finished the system tray functionality for Milkyway Pets. I'm hoping to get this shipped by the end of the week, ahead of whatever the cool announcement next week will be. • Went to the AA to book my licence exam, forgot I had to have my passport on me. I also found out that the exam conditions wont be changing, so I'm hopefully gonna do it after my exams are over. • Reviewed the grammar structures that will appear in my Japanese exam. • Did some writing for my personal website. It didn't feel like it, but it's been a pretty productive day!

50 days challenge ❄️ Daily update #4 | Streak: 4 days :P Productive stuff I did for my goals • I solved a 16 piece integrals puzzle for calc yippee • Edited my debate stuff to have better evidence • Worked on a TON of research for debate (my prep doc is 90+ pages now) • Abstract for research project is done • Finished my AP Bio homework, reading, and practice problems • Got a 100% on my AP Econ test! Attached is a screenshot of my Econ grades, which are looking great so far! (Man, I wish my calc grades were that good... sigh) Nice stuff • I tried this new caramel latte freeze at Costco and it's neato • Finished everything on my to-do list for two days in a row, YAY! I usually have a ton of stuff on my to-do list and am often overwhelmed with balancing many responsibilities, so this is epic Wish me luck on my debate tournament tomorrow! I worked really hard for this and I hope I can do okay 🙂

Day 2 1. My Physics exam was today! It went well which I'm happy about, I think I got Excellence in Mechanics and Electricity and Electromagnetism, and probably Merit in Waves. Now I'll have a bit more time before my next exam! 2. Went for a run this morning - was an amazing way to clear my head!! 3. Did a ton of study before the exam too 4. Had a relaxing evening! Ready to start it over tomorrow but put more of a focus on my coding projects! 5. Didn't do any work for #C08HX0F11BP| or #C07KRNHG339| but will make up for it tomorrow! 50 days challenge ❄️ Daily update #1: November 11, 2025 | Streak: 1 day :3 Stuff I did for my goals • I finally figured out Riemann sums! Attached is a picture of my successful work after a long time of toil and not getting what this is bro (everyone says I'm a natural 'slowpoke' at math) • I worked on redesigning social media posts for a small news organization I'm a director for, to stand out more and take less time to create each week! • It was snowing and really cold but I went out for a run and got 5,000 steps! (not including during the day because I use my phone to track steps and can't have phones at school. but in general I don't exercise much since I'm a couch potato and I want to change that) Productive stuff in general (kind of fulfills goal #1 to work on what "serves me") • I completed my AP economics homework a day early • I did my university chemistry homework 2 weeks early • I made a 10 page study guide for my AP bio unit test and reviewed lecture slides, attached a preview of my study guide because I'm happy with it • I wrote two 1,000 word essays for an application to represent my school at the board of education Nice stuff • I went to study at the cafe today and got a croque monsieur bread • There was a nice deal for a slice of green tea cake and a latte for $9 so I got those for tomorrow's study treat • Me and my friend's project involving building a plane is showing signs of life (the prototype is looking promising) • I got to know a kid in this AP computer science principles class that I'm the teaching assistant for and bro is in calculus in 9th grade...

day 2! • fixed @SlackExtra stuff - tldr: i hate coolify • did another fire dept onboarding call • flavortown work! been looking at custom merch, commissioned a heidi plushie • learnt about some rails stuffs • did some more work on slack extra. not finished any features but working on a modal for sending spoilers which will let you format with rich text and attach files (only up to 10MB though because slack)

Day 1/50! Today I've: • Done ~1 hour of work on my games for #C09EZSEMB16|. I got a friend to play through my platformer and by the way she was struggling I can see that I need to make the player movement and level design a lot more forgiving. Also massively reduced the CPU usage of my Hackatime desktop pet • Spent most of the day studying physics at school with a mate, now doing past papers in preparation for tomorrow (Feeling confident for Mechanics, less so for Electricity) • Sat a practice test for my licence exam and got 33/35!

I think the strat is just to spam practice exams until I feel confident enough to do the actual exam • Cleared out my Anki backlog for Japanese

Ever wanted to use multiple

WakaTime instances (eg. using both Hackatime and WakaTime at the same time) but waka-relay was just too hard to use? Worry no more! I just finished working on my new project, timesplit that aims to make that much easier!

I finished working on my project : The Verse Of Silence A web-based game made with Tailwind and SvelteKit, this live link is only a mechanism concept... But I have soo many ideas for this project that I made a digital garden link for my ideas Anyways. Today, I finished connecting the combining logic and Drag-and-drop action! Final ship for SoM, is the 2nd major release of Liveboard! This release brings widgets to Liveboard!! Now you can see the weather, date and time at just a glance. Additionally, it also has a pomodoro timer widget! This runs even when you switch window, and plays an audible chime to signal the timer has ended, turning Liveboard from a simple whiteboard, into a fully featured productivity powerhouse! I've just shipped liveboard!

It currently only has core features, but I've put work into making the overall structure and framework for it, so it can easily be expanded in future. Essentially, Liveboard is an app that transforms your computer desktop into an endless whiteboard canvas. All you have to do is minimise your window, and creativity is right at hand! Super proud, I've shipped my first project for SOM after 29+ hours of work... It's called volo-system and it's a (WIP) all-in-one solution for signing-up, onboarding and managing volunteers at events. Currently you can log in with a magic link, create an event, and sign-up to volunteer at the event. I made this because in Lublin (my hometown) I volunteered at many cultural events with Warsztaty Kultury - Carnaval Sztukmistrzow, Noc Kultury (Night of Culture) and Inne Brzmienia (Other Sounds). The volunteer coordinators spent HOURS creating PDFs with schedules, making sure everyone submitted every form, confirming people's availability, gathering preferences etc... I want to give this time back to them so that they have the time to actually work with volunteers to make the events the best they can be, and not for them to get buried in admin work. The app is not finished, not all features are implemented, but after 29+ hours I felt that I have an MVP and can ship it as-is before other features are implemented. another scrapbook post oop, but i did attempt to make a blender shark from the irl clay shark ceramic i made. i kinda winged it so its EXTREMELY scuffed and lowk has some holes on the forehead, BUT it was still fun to make

i would improve it but all the vertexs are just spaghettiiii next i will attempt to make the little otter ceramic in blender

made a project gallery for #C0931T5SEH4| that pulls from a*rtable!! which sounds simple but i made it wayyyy harder than it should have been

cuz i didnt wanna expose the api keys so then i went down an INSANELY deep rabbit hole that probably wasnt even that deep but i have a terrible shovel or whatever so it was hard for me lmao but then realized i could js make a new base with only the project gallery table and not the one with ppls addresses and stuff and then leak the api keys bc who cares all the info is on the website nothing to see here. but yeah!! the commit history is a menace

but yeah it looks nice, also volume up bc people added their background sounds to each game and hopefully by the end of this event theres gonna be a lotta games there

Today I made the mistake of adding CodeRabbit to a repo out of curiosity - it made 70 comments on my code (a mix of hallucinations, extreme nitpicks, some useful suggestions, and it even caught a few bugs). Finally made the AI interface with the lua scripts! It still is a pain to train, since im on a laptop with no gpu (yay) but t5-flan-base is pretty ok to use for something like this. Just shipped #C091PEQP7CJ|! It's like #C07UJMV9389| but for Summer of Making, and gives you updates for stock changes, new items and price reductions! I took a lot of what I learnt from High Seas Monitor and Arcade Monitor to make the codebase more maintainable and easy to hack on! •

happy-dom (dom library for nodejs/bun) is used to parse the som shop's html • 🚢 arktype (a library to validate the shape of types) is used for safe env vars, better intellisense, and to ensure that the scraping script isn't reporting false/undefined data because of a page change (it'll stop the script from running further and pinging people for false updates) •

sentry is used to monitor errors. since the bot does html scraping, it can be slightly fragile - sentry (to report errors) + arktype (to throw errors) help prevent that from happening •

jsx-slack lets you use jsx instead of json for block kit! while it doesn't use react, it helps keep your code a lot shorter and you get better intellisense. i use it for all the bot's messages and it's been a joy to use! •

bun to use typescript/tsx without a bundler + for superfast package management! code's at github.com/skyfallwastaken/som-monitor. dual licensed under MIT and Apache 2.0.

Finally learnt what gpg keys actually are, and made my own... Now I get a fancy tag next to my git commits

The raspberry pi zero destroyer - the icepi zero I've been hacking away lately, and I'm now proud to show off my newest project - The Icepi Zero! In case you don't know what an FPGA is, this phrase summarizes it perfectly: "FPGAs work like this. You don't tell them what to do, you tell them what to BE." You don't program them, but you rewrite the circuits they contain! So I've made a PCB that carries an ECP5 FPGA, and has a raspberry pi zero footprint. It also has a few improvements! Notably the 2 USB B ports are replaced with 3 USB C ports, and it has multiple LEDs. This board can output HDMI, read from a uSD, use a SDRAM and much more. I'm very proud the result of multiple weeks of work! (All the sources are at github.com/cheyao/icepi-zero under an open source license :D) Big kudos to #C07F3EA2L8G| for sponsoring this

cooking up a quick little thing to connect little cellular microcontrollers to each other. hit the button, it turns the LED on all other devices on while held. In theory can have unlimited devices. If I have time I'm also going to make a sveltekit dashboard to run in a cloudflare worker, it'll store the state of all the connected devices and can be used to set the color they're showing, brightness, etc.
